Before the first run

Hamlet needs a model to talk to: any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Out of the box it looks for a local Ollama. Endpoints, their keys and the default model are set in Settings.

Everything Hamlet keeps is in ~/.hamlet. Set HAMLET_HOME to another folder to try things out and leave your real notes, skills and logs alone.
