Hosted hamlets are not open yet. The prices below are planned and may change before they are.

Questions
What people ask first.
- Is the app really free?
- Yes. The desktop app costs nothing and is not a trial. The hosted plans sell what one laptop cannot do: hamlets that keep going when the laptop is shut, and hamlets shared with other people.
- Who pays for the model?
- You do, with your own API key, on every plan. In the desktop app you can also run a local model. Hosted hamlets cannot use a local model, since the model would have to run on your computer.
- Where is my API key kept?
- In the desktop app, in your system’s keychain. For hosted hamlets, on their own machine and nowhere else.
- What does "asleep while idle" mean?
- The machine your hamlets are hosted on stops when nobody is connected and no agent is working, and starts again when you open the app or work arrives. Nothing is lost while it sleeps.
- Can I leave?
- Yes. Hosted hamlets are the same folder the desktop app keeps on your disk. Export them, and the free app opens them on your own machine.
